The Deanery Mission and Pastoral Group (DMPG) comprises of both lay and ordained members, and primarily plans and advises the Deanery Synod on matters relating to some of the following issues:
- the whole mission strategy of the Deanery. Here some of the main priorities for mission and ministry shared across the Deanery may be prayerfully considered, and what resources may be required in order to carry them out.
- the development and application of the Deanery Mission Plan, again considering structures and resources needed in order for it to be a helpful and practical plan.
- any proposals to be passed to the Diocesan Pastoral Committee relating to clergy deployment within the Deanery.
