Axbridge Deanery

We know and appreciate that a lot of pastoral care takes place in churches and communities on an informal basis. But for those who are acting as pastoral assistants in a church or would like to in the future, there is a course available to train people to be a Lay Pastoral Assistant. In our deanery we have more than 30 trained LPAs, and offer ongoing training for them once they have been commended for ministry. For more information about the LPA course, please click here.
