Axbridge Deanery

The interregnum or vacancy is the period of time between one clergy office holder and the next. They can last anywhere from a few months to years, and allows the parish to prayerfully consider the attributes they are looking for in a new incumbent, as well as priorities that they think are important for the church locally. This is managed with support from the Deanery and the Diocesan Pastoral Committee.
