The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is made up of the incumbent, other licensed clergy, churchwardens, lay members elected at the APCM, synod members, and can also include other co-opted members.
The PCC is intended to co-operate with the incumbent of the parish to “promote in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.” The responsibility of the PCC is to discuss and carefully work together to address legal matters, financial matters, as well as spiritual matters.
